Buckeyes add Mookie Cooper to 2020 Class!

Updated: Sep 26, 2023

Ohio State continued their amazing recruiting season as they added receiver Mookie Cooper (Trinity Catholic High School, Saint Louis, MO) to their already star studded class. Cooper had cut his schools down to Ohio State, Illinois, USC, Texas and Miami.

"I just felt like Ohio State is a great place for me to get better going against top DB's everyday," Cooper said.  "I'm excited, I'm pumped up.

According to the 247SportsComposite, Cooper is the 11th ranked receiver in the nation, and 64th overall recruit. He will be bringing a lot of speed to an already loaded recruiting class that includes Julian Fleming, Gee Scott Jr., and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

The 2019 edition of the Ohio State Buckeyes will open on August 31st at Noon as they host Lane Kiffins Florida Atlantic Owls.
